(16/20 years old)
The new building of Hillsborough college offers great facilities to our students: Light classrooms, extra large computer rooms and library, excellent cafeteria (very important for the moral and the preparation of our athletes!)
Within the first 4 weeks of study, we may identify students who could follow a higher course of study and may be allowed to change programme.
Our goals :
- To get the most out your child’s curriculum.
- To obtain a better level in English for non-English speakers and obtain a language diploma (TOEFL, SAT, Trinity).
- To get a scholarship to an American University depending on the level of football and schools results.
1. Secondary School Programme GCSE & A Levels (14/18 year old)
Our College allows students (subject to their academic level) to follow a GCSE course A levels in main subjects like Maths, Biology, English language, Media Studies, Business Studies, PE (physical education), Media Studies, Psychology, History, Chemistry, Information Technology, Graphic Design. This is the most direct route for the University program. Our goal is that our students get a scholarship in an American University thanks to their football level and their school results. There are exams at the end of the 1st year which count for 50% of the overall result, with the final exams taken at the end of the 2nd year.
2. BTEC (Level 1, 2 and 3)
A BTEC qualification is another way to access the university program. The BTEC level 3 is considered the equivalent of an "A" level and accepted by universities. No BTEC qualification has exams, it is all coursework. The BTEC we offer is in Sport (see below)

3. English Courses (EFL)
